Description: Louis Icart (Worked in America and France, 1888-1950) oval colored etching showing a young woman in diaphanous attire picking forsythia. Pencil signed by the artist, lower right. Notation: “Copyright 1925 by Les Graveurs Modernes A94 Rue de Rivoli = Paris.” Very good condition with slight bit of mat burn and trimmed to an oval format. Crisp image, good color and not laid down. Examined out of the frame. Sight size is 20 by 16 inches and overall size with new gold leaf, finished corner frame and French mat is 30 x 26 inches. Small chips to edges of the frame.
