The obverse has a meticulous raised gold decoration. A reflective ox blood backdrop having mother of pearl characteristics intensifies the gold designs. Measures 6 1/2 inches by 6 inches across. Marks include Germany in red script, the title and number 35607 hand written in purple and a gold floral sprig mask. Impressive jug in excellent original condition.
