Lot No. 0632

Manufacturer: Ted Coconis

Description: Ted Coconis (American 1927 - ) oil on canvas entitled Terry and Sherry. Coconis is best known as an illustrator but has been doing amazing paintings of beautiful women in Paris which places him in the fine art category as well. In 2013 he was formally elected into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame. This work is signed lower right and sight size is 30 by 35 1/8 inches. With frame it measures 37 1/4 by 41 1/4 inches. The work consists of images of two women who explain themselves with a message seen between them: I’m Terry. And I’m Sherry. We don’t think of ourselves as twins. We’re more like two ones. Or one twos. Sort of. Like two bodies with one heart. One mind. Soul. Whatever. It’s hard to explain. So we usually don’t. Fanciful and thought provoking.

Size: 30 x 36

Estimate: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00
