Lot No. 0712

Manufacturer: Daum Nancy

Description: Impressive Daum Nancy cameo lamp decorated with columbine flower heads, larger than life, bowing from leafy stems. The arrangement is well detailed utilizing red enameling for the flowers and green enameling on the foliage and set against a blended backdrop of frost, palest yellow and rich purple. The glass section measures 10 1/4 inches tall and 11 inches across the shoulder. Signed in cameo “Daum Nancy, France” on the side. The ample glass body is mounted within a fancy urn form metal base having a gold wash surface. Slight wear of the gold. Measures 23 inches to the top of the porcelain light socket. A huge, aged paperboard shade accompanies, cut out about the circumference with the same blossom and foliage design of the lamp base. Measures 14 inches tall by 20 1/2 inches across. A monumental, awe-inspiring lamp, not often seen. Excellent original condition. From the Berniece and Henry Blount collection.

Estimate: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00
