Pictured all around the body are black limbs on which grow a profusion of red and pink cherry blossoms with light green leaves. The curdled gray ground is a fine contrast to the the decoration as is the rose interior. Marks include the company logo and date, shape number 2466 and the monogram of the artist. Height is 8 inches. and diameter is 9 1/2 inches. Uncrazed but there is a 3 1/2 inch line descending from the rim. We have stabilized the line with water soluble glue so the piece rings true but there is definitely a line. Size: 8 x 9 1/2 Estimate: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 |
