Lot No. 0626

Manufacturer: Libbey Embassy

Description: Set of 39 Libbey “Embassy” Art Deco stemware, a design created with the combined efforts of Walter Dorwin Teague and Edwin W. Furest for the State dining room at the 1939 World’s Fair within the Federal building. The set consists of 39 crystal stems each acid marked with the encircled Libbey logo. Compiled are 9-6 1/2” wines, 6-6 1/2 inch sherry, 10-7 1/2 inch cordials, 13-6 3/4 inch liquors and a 6 3/4 inch cocktail. Minus a tiny rim nick to a wine and a sliver chip to a sherry stem, the set is fashionably posh and in excellent condition. A must have for Deco connoisseurs.

Estimate: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00
